My Husband and I own the building we live in (actually we rent the downstairs to a church, and we live in the upstairs loft). We looked into buying a more "traditional" home, but made the decision to wait as well. SO many people jump into large decisions, without being fully prepared. The maturity of realizing what you are ready for with out just jumping in (in my opinion) is much wiser (and more mature) than fulfilling that "instant gratification". All will come in due time.
